FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Check if the monitor size and weight are within the range of monitor stand limitation.
2. Check if there is a 75x75mm/100x100mm VESA hole pattern at the back of your monitor, if there is no hole pattern, you need an additional adapter (HNMUA4-U) on Amazon.

You need a VESA extension adapter (HNMUA4-U).

1. It is recommended to place a wooden block of the same size and thickness as the crossbar under the table.
2. Or you can use grommets to mount the stand directly.

If the table is too thin, it is recommended to place a wooden block on top of the table, which can add a few millimetres of height.

The VESA head can be rotated 360°. Please install the monitor first, and then adjust the monitor to a positive angle. Please note that the head cannot be rotated directly by hand.

The installation can be done with spacers and long screws M4x30mm. Please install the spacer inside/outside the recessed area first, then install the VESA plate and install the screws through the assembly.

The stand must be installed on your desktop. The monitor must then be installed on the stand. Apply pressure to the arm until you see the position of the screw hole. At the two arms connecting point shown below If the arm is not easy to press, you can rotate the arm at a 45° angle then press downward.

A. Check the weight of your monitor and see if it is below the max rated load of the mount you are looking at.
B. Check the size of your monitor and confirm if it is in the size range of the mount.
C. Check the VESA pattern of your monitor and confirm if it is 75x75mm/100x100mm if yes it should fit.
D. If you have no VESA hole pattern on your monitor you will need a HNMUA4-U Non VESA adaptor kit.

What if my monitors bolt pattern is wider then your 100x100mm VESA pattern?
You will need an adaptor plate to install the monitor to the mounts or stands.

Yes. However, the particle board is softer than a solid wood or MDF desk top. We suggest you purchase a reinforcing plate for installation.

Yes. But in order to protect the glass table, we suggest you should purchase a reinforcing plate for installation.

There are two methods for installation.
a. Please place a wooden block with the same size of the crossbar under your desk.
b. Or you can also use grommet mounting method to install the stand.

If you have a thin table, you could try to place a wooden block between the tabletop and the c-clamp, which will add a few inches of height.

Our monitor mounts & stands come with a 360°rotation function on the head. If the head is skewed please mount the monitor first and then directly rotate it back to the right angle.
(BTW, If the mount is not attached to a desktop, it will be difficult to rotate the VESA plate by hand).

We recommend that you use spacers and long screws M4x30mm to install.
First, fix the spacers inside/outside the mounting hole, then attach the VESA plate, and finally fix it with M4x30mm screws.

a. Mount your monitor to the mount or stand first, the arm needs weight to form some gravity, press down to open the adjustment points. Continue to apply pressure to the arm gradually and the arm should go down to a horizontal angle in order to access the gas spring adjust bolt.

b. If you find it difficult to press the arm into the horizontal position, you could try making an angle between the two arms and try it again, this may help.

Please check the direction of screwing, because the connecting ring has threads on one side and no threads on the other side, the screws need to be screwed from left to right.

There are fine-tuning screws above the headers that attach to the VESA board, adjust the fine-tuning screws on one side a few inches to align left and right.

If you want to move the monitor downwards, please use a large allen key and turn it clockwise ("-" direction) continuously to reduce the tension on your arm until the monitor can hold itself at the desired height.
If your monitor is very light, several turns of the hexagonal spanner are required. One turn ≈ 0.45 kg

Start by holding the arm in a horizontal position and, depending on the weight of your monitor, use a large Allen key to turn the bolt continuously counter-clockwise ("+" direction) to increase the tension on the arm until the monitor is able to hold itself at the desired height. One turn ≈ 0.45 kg

Please tighten the screw(s) in joints.

1. First make sure that the set screws are tightened at all joints.
2. Secondly, if the set screw still drifts after tightening, we recommend that you dismantle the arm and check whether the set screw is stuck in the seam of the sleeve.
If so, turn the plastic sleeve to prevent the set screw from getting stuck in the seam.
3. If you have tried steps 1 and 2, but the problem persists.
Please take the set screw apart and see if it is shorter than the other set screws.
If so, you could replace the set screw with an M6x15mm screw and tighten it again to solve the problem.

Sorry, it cannot be mounted on plasterboard walls or drywall, our monitor wall mounts can only be mounted on single wooden posts, concrete and brick walls.

Sorry, it is unable to mount on a metal post. The metal posts do not provide sufficient grip to securely mount the wall mount and may cause it to fall off.
